Got back from JFK Building about an hour ago. They were an hour and 15 Minutes late but all is good. Oath ceremony to be scheduled.

Asked her 6 questions,

What are 2 cabinet positions

Who is the Commander of the military                                      Reading test was "How many senators do we have?"

What is highest court                                                                   Writing was "How many senators do we have? "

What did Martin Luther do

we elect a President for how many years

who is in charge of the executive Branch

went over N400 about names, children names ex spouses Birth Certificates etc etc. No questions about if your a drunk or a commie and such. Review and sign here. In and out in 15 Minutes. Guess he wanted to go home. 2:30 appointment got called at 3:45. They let both of us in the waiting area so didnt have to wait outside.

Now to find a new Hobby

I had my interview at 1:45. We were done by 2:20 and they offered me same day ceremony upstairs or to come back in a month. Took same day so the journey is over.

Our journey got completed today in Boston.

Filled mid April 2020.

Got bio done in Feb 2021. Then nothing for exactly 13 months. Filled FOIA in February 2022, which completed in three weeks.  Received interview notification in early March 2022.

Today was interview, n then was offered same day Oath, which we graciously accepted. Was done n minted as a new n proud US citizen by 10AM.

This forum helped a lot. I wanted to file for FOIA back in November of 2021 but got discouraged by posts on Reddit. But finally reading positive feedback from this forum we applied in February 2022.

So finally after almost two years of wait, here we are.

thank you all.

If I am to judge then people who get AM appointments are perhaps getting same day OATH ceremonies. There was one at 0900, then 1000 n then one at 1100, n all three had people who got interview on the same day n the room had perhaps 12-15 people maximum, socially distanced. Though the room was much large.
The best part was that family/friends were allowed to be present, n photos were allowed as well.

Yes I agree. During COVID times, no one was allowed upstairs so I missed my wife’s ceremony. I am glad they are letting people back in.

I am glad I became part of my wife’s journey, she texted me immediately after her interview when she got the word for same day oath. I was already on my way to the JFK building, was able to reach in time.
The situation was totally different last year when I became citizen n took oath.
the Boston staff is super cool n helpful, from security officers to various other officers from one department to another.
Best of luck everyone.

This has a list of immigration ceremony dates, so if you're waiting for your ceremony, you can at least keep track of which dates have already passed and when you might hear about yours.
