Hello VJ fam I need some clarification, I know there are some discussion about this topic already but I am still confused. 
here is my question seems like the wait time for bringing a brother or sister to the US on average is about 10 years what I do not understand is this

this is California center and the receipt date is Feb 14 2009

here is Nebraska center and the receipt date is Nov 20 2018

here it says you should provide more documents if you are half siblings what it both parents never married what to do in this case?

hope these questions make sense😔

Expect to get a request for three way DNA testing. 
 

Wait time is still above 12 years for most countries - some longer than that like Philippines and Mexico.

This is just the length of time for processing applications at each service center.  The main wait for a sibling visa is for the priority date to become current - for that you need to check the visa bulletin. The current wait is around 14 years (only cases filed earlier than 1 July 2006 are currently eligible to get visas), see category F4 in table A:

Just to clarify you are looking at historical wait times, you will be joining a longer line. Well there are a few lines depending on the Country.
