You can get in touch with @Greenbaum for P3 for Jamaica so he can start getting documents together... He still has to do medicals and schedule his interview when the embassy opens

Greenbaum is not from our embassy and does not know the inside and out of how JA works.  We already have our packet 3 posted in our forum.  Thanks

My husband needed to have a year of negative  drug test in order to move forward with getting the Visa. We were only able to do one test so far. His next medical redo is in August. Do you think they will accept only the two test. With every shut down we may not be able to get another One done anytime soon.

There will not be any excuses why he has only completed 1 in a year.  JA did not shutdown until April, so he should have completed at least 2.  However, it will be up to the embassy.

Thank you.  Does this replace a divorce decree??  We've already got that.

You are filing for a K-1, so it is a required document.  Also he needs police certificate

I would wait and see. Also keep emailing the Consulate, they might sent update back via email or they may update their automatic email reply

Can you please share the email you're using to contact the Consulate?

You are at the NOA2 stage in your process. Although Vjers are helpful, u need to get your questions answered by people from JA.  Each embassy is different in their rules. Listening to someone else can result in your case being denied.

Thank you - I want to follow all the protocols!

My case has been sent/received at the Consolate.  I thought NOA2 was the NVC approval?

So if I have filled out the DS160 and now waiting for the P3 letter from the Consolate - there is nothing more I can do until we receive that P3 letter directly from there?  I'm also confused regarding the P3 letter - is that sent to me (petitioner) or my fiance (beneficiary)?  He has checked with his local PO in Ramble - they say they aren't getting mail but once or twice per week.

Technically, you do not have to wait for official Packet 3.  I sent you the pdf for Packet 3.  You can start with everything and finish, but you will not be able to schedule an appointment until embassy opens.

Here is the Kingston website:  https://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=Jamaica&cty=Kingstone

It discusses everything.

I have done all the steps, filed the DS 160 and done everything up to paying the K1 fee on the website because I keep getting hung up on a specific statement:

Warning: The information entered below must match the applicant’s passport and DS-260 Number application. Any discrepancy will result in delays in the return of the applicant’s documents.

I didn't fill out the DS260!  I understood that the K1 doesn't require that?
