wait time after sending documents to vermont

I have sent all the nessacery documents to the Vermont USCIS. All the forums and info I have seen in various sites say it takes about 2 weeks to get the receipt. It has know been 3 weeks, and I am starting to get anxoius. Please anyone who has gotten a visa for there loved one from the Vermont office tell me how long it took for you to receive the first receipt. Thank you and any info would help. God Bless!

I also heard vermont supose to be super fast , and wich they actualy might be for some people , but please take a look at my timeline , just to show you, never expect the unexpected anything can happen ,

my fiance and I are staying positive , we resived notice on the RFE beeing resived on june 6 and aplication is again in process ,

now june 16 we are still awaiting on the NOA 2 ,

for this time of year, it is a bit longer. Was the check you sent cashed, did you recieve a receipt of acceptance from fed-ex? Those may be two ways to track it,

It's taking longer than it used to. Check out the K3 forum the thread is May and June filers. I sent my I-130 to Vermont on May 25.. rec'd by them on May 29th and I haven't heard anything yet. It seems to be taking most of us up to a month to hear anything. Many of the service centers are passing forms to the CSC because they are overloaded with work. Hang in there. I'm nervous too but all we can do is wait

They are/were backed up at CSC and VSC due to the huge inflow of H1B work visa applications that they had to process and receipt. The problems started in early April (H1B can start filing then), and they are saying that everything should be back to normal as of yesterday June 15. Check out the april thread too:
