What to do if you have symptoms of Corona virus

Iam not a physician and neither is this medical advice but i have had first hand experience of a family member who was exposed to Corona virus early on in Wuhan ( they had a 50 percent chance of survival and they are recovering now).  First lets start with Symptoms

 

1) Fever 

2) Dry Cough 

3) Breathing issues and Lungs are heavy 

 

Most folks will have initial fever and than there is dry cough while breathing issues become heavy. Most people only have mild version of it and you will survive.  Considering our supreme leader failed miserably with testing capacity and calling it #itsjustflubro. What do you do when you have symptoms and cant get tested ?. These are minimum guidelines to reduce the symptoms

 

1) Lots and Lots of water 

2) Thermometer to measure temperature 

3) N-Aceltly-L-Cysteine supplement - you can get it at Target/ Walgreen/Amazon - This supplement works well to reduce the fluid build up in Lungs

4) Humidifier - Due to dry winters all over the globe, your lungs need help with moisture . A humidifier will help  with moisture at home and aid your lungs 

5) Protein powder - Protein is needed by your body for immune response. Lots of whey protein helps the body to recover

6) Zinc or ZMA supplement - Immune booster

7) Vitamin Supplements

How should people get exposure to sun if they're supposed to quarantine themselves if infected?

 

Also, pretty sure folks in Florida (and the South in general) won't be needing a humidifier  (I grew up there, so I know)

  For recovery, I think drinking lots of water is the best thing on the list. I would add getting plenty of rest and knowing if/when it's time to seek medical care.

I would also add, for all the smokers out there: STOP SMOKING. NOW. ....there's never been a better time to quit.

 

High death rates in Asia could be due to the high rates of smoking in those countries.

    Indeed. Smoking has decreased so much here that I sometimes do a double take when I visit a country where it's still common. No doubt it has led to a higher mortality rate in some places.

And vaping.  I started thinking about all those folks that had issues with vaping a few months back.  Btw, the stopping smoking suggestion should also include MJ.

100% And hookah, and anything that involves bothering your lungs. How about: don't breathe in anything that isn't air? That's a good rule of thumb, lungs would be happy.

Standing outside in the sun isn't going to help you get better.

 

The supplement suggested should also never be taken by someone taking nitroglycerin and can furthermore result in a host of side effects. Would certainly never take it unless a doctor thought it of benefit.

  I'm seeing a lot of the suggestions online mixing up preventative measures with treatment and recovery. Sunlight falls squarely in the preventative category. There are many things people can do to stay healthy and try to prevent exposure and minimize chances of getting infected, but  many of those suggestions are not as effective as tools for fighting off a virus once it's inside.

TP and bottled water... two things that won't do one bit of good against CV.  Unless you live in Flint, MI I guess.  I don't get the demand, but it's widespread for days now.

Everyone buys water here because we have bad water. There was no water left at all last night at the store just rows upon rows of empty pallets, and they were starting to get into the Perrier. Saw a line coming out of a pharmacy with people carrying stacks of TP and probably the weirdest sighting... an old lady with a CARTLOAD of applesauce jars...
