Not wanting to wear a mask because of HIPAA (????how) doesn't mean you get to enter the store without a mask. She was presented with the option of having her shopping done for her and yet that wasn't satisfactory because she needed to buy "private things." What's so private? Tampons? An enema? Lube? It's not like the checkout person isn't going to clock your two-pack of Fleet or your K-Y. And if you choose self-checkout (which that Gelson's may not even have), it's not like their computers aren't taking stock of that. 

As a non mask-wearer, I definitely think any business has the right to their own rules, and if I don't like it, I'll go somewhere else. Really easy.

T cells may help COVID-19 patients — and people never exposed to the virus

People infected with the coronavirus carry immune cells known as T cells that help the body fight off the infection, a study suggests. These cells may help people recover from COVID-19, but their exact role is still unknown.

Researchers found T cells that target SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, in the blood of people who had recovered from a coronavirus infection. Some people who had never been exposed to the virus also had T cells that could recognize the virus, researchers report May 14 in Cell. That finding suggests that previous infections with other coronaviruses, like the ones that cause common colds, could provide some level of protection against the new coronavirus, such as keeping people from developing severe disease.

It remains unclear whether these defenses can protect people from a reinfection with SARS-CoV-2, and, if so, for how long.

Not wearing a mask.  Down here, you have to wear a mask in every store or public business.  But when I went up to the panhandle last week, most stores were open to customers without masks.  Also, there was no shortage of items on store shelves.  It was amazing how a short 10-hour drive could change things.

You're on the wrong side of the state!  Over here, only 1 1/2 hours away it's not so bad except for Costco.

I don't really think any lawmaker or city council member has the right to force people to wear masks. I wouldn't be surprised if in the future they discover many people got sick by improper use of them.

I agree that governments most likely do not have the power, but business owners can refuse service if you don’t dress appropriately with shoes, shirts, and in some cases masks.

Agree.  If a store owner/manager decrees it, then so be it.  I will either comply or shop elsewhere.  But to be forced to wear a mask into ALL stores, while observing the idiotic masses improperly wearing them (yes, I can pull the mask down to my chin and be "A-OK" because I have a mask on, as many store employees prove every way) is just schtoopid.  Only the sheeple will fall for it.
