Irish Spring will strip oils from your skin. Mrs. Meyers, not so. Dove is also a good option.

That makes sense for your dad. I just saw this pack of 6 lilac scented bottles on Amazon, with only a small delay: https://www.amazon.com/Mmeyer-70057-12-5-Clean-Liquid/dp/B07L8NTW2L/ref=sr_1_27?crid=1BOPJGAGVJJXN&dchild=1&keywords=mrs+meyers+hand+soap&qid=1587515789&sprefix=mrs+%2Caps%2C326&sr=8-27

If a soap DOESN'T clean the oils from your skin, then it's not really soap, is it?

that's why irish spring is a manly bar of soap!

I love it. It's the only womanly bar of soap that doesn't cause hives!

Do you have a Harbor Freight nearby?

Why wear gloves?  Why not just use a very mild bleach solution, like 0.25-0.5% on a towel for continually wiping your hands?

Nope.

And... well not trying to be gross here but poo + person that is always a carrier at high risk of infecting you with a very serious bug when you come in contact with that poo means you must wear gloves. It's one of the reasons they put him in an isolation ward, and that was before they thought he had COVID.

That could work Boiler. I'll take a look.

Yeah, the latest craze is... TP can be found Tues-Wed before it's gone. Flour is rare. Bread is back in stock. No bleach or cleaning product. And absolutely no hand soap.

It's weird how things vary regionally.  Here, there is no TP nor sanitizer, a few paper towels.  Flour?  Costco has pallets of 50# bags.  A week ago, a normal supply of meat.  Yesterday, no chicken except whole fryers.

The good news is that Florida has plenty of iguanas.  I may be eating "chicken of the trees" soonish.

Chicken supply is bad enough here that restaurants have had to limit the food they are selling. Costco had massive bags of sugar but no flour. Not sure what everyone is doing with it.

Soap can contain oils though -- soaps need fatty acids. Dove has a ton of oils and other emollients. My derm is very pro-Dove for body cleansing for people who are otherwise not sensitive.

I wonder what other Members Derms think, which soaps they recommend, or not.

Hmm, I think I need to give this a pass as any comment is likely to viewed unfavorably by our God Mods.

Also depends if she means professional

I mean like an MD so yes.

And being a never nude on Zoom or other video platforms is probably a good idea for all us non-professionals.

Professional?, in what context?

I have been to 3 dermatologists, all 3 required a 360 body review in only briefs. I would not want to do that on Zoom with a relative stranger
