I expect these are things we may learn in the years to come, when this moment is being considered with greater perspective than in the emergency situation we're in.

I doubt this is going to be priority although it might offer some insights about why the virus is more deadly for men. But trans people are such a small percentage of the population that reporting on them separately doesn't make sense.

I agree -- unlikely to be a priority right now, and more a topic for later reflection and investigation.

The only reason this drug is so controversial is because Trump likes it so much.  The media is desperately wishing it would kill a bunch of people.  Unfortunately for them, it is extremely safe.  I took it years ago for malaria prevention... zero side effects for the 500+ people in my group taking it. I am pretty sure ibuprofen is more dangerous.

 

The media was so desperate to pin another Death on Trump, that they tried to blame him for that guy who ate aquarium cleaner.

I'm politically indifferent towards trans issues but I personally think it's interesting to study them in order to understand some sex differences and what is causing them. If it's hormones or something else.

Yes. I did ask him once if he had ever had any relations with men, because I was/am a no-judgment zone. He said no, not his thing. He said what about you, and I said no, and then he called me a liar. I strenuously disagreed with him, and then he said, "I asked you, 'What about you?' The correct answer to that is 'yes' because you have had relations with men."

I told him he won the medal for pedantry that day and he said he would gladly take it because he was right and I was wrong.
