Uh, yes. It is pretty delicious! Not a fan of the Nashville hot style that is the big thing here at the moment, but there are some great places. Trying to see if Roscoe's will deliver out here. Their chicken and waffles are so, so good.

Here you go. The longest I've ever fasted was 72 hours, but I think I could tack on a few more days after seeing this.

Earth children left coast liberals really eat fried chicken?

I wonder if they have Royal Farms gas station chicken which everyone thinks it's some great thing on the east coast, but usually reminds me of some greasy burnt salty inedible thing. There must be some good mythical fried chicken somewhere...

Best fried chicken I ever ate was sold out of a gas station  in Huntsville Alabama, if I hadn’t been taken there I never would have eaten there

Woman who licked toilet in 'coronavirus challenge' talks to Dr. Phil about bizarre stunt, admits she 'lied'

An aspiring influencer has explained her “coronavirus challenge” stunt was because she was so desperate for attention she allegedly staged herself licking a toilet seat “for clout.”

Ava Louise, a multiple Dr. Phil guest, and struggling influencer – she has 175K followers on Instagram, and around 9,500 on Twitter – spoke to the TV therapist via a Zoom video conference session, claiming to have created “fake news” with her viral toilet seat prank.

I'm sure the TV watching/social media affluent bunch will love this.

He ended up not buying it. I used to get my fix from the Pasadena branch -- even Voldy became a fan. :P

They do not deliver out here. :( We ended up getting it from Honey's Kettle, which was pretty good. I'd never had it there before. No waffles though.

I just had this random thought. If the government made a law that everyone had to wear a mask all the time for the next month, wouldn’t that significantly slow down the spread?

In countries that have enacted both mask wearing for all and rigorous testing of all individuals we can see there is a significant impact for the better. But now? At this point it's too late.

First they told us masks wouldn't be of use. But of course this wasn't really for our own protection, it was just to stop the panic hoarding.

Then they told health workers to reuse them.

Now they've told health workers to just use a tshirt or bandanna, a suggestion that everyone knows won't work.

Now they are desperate and good citizens are sewing their own DIY masks which may or may not offer much protection, which has now led to a dramatic supply shortage of materials and other goods to make them.

If they told us to all start wearing masks there would be little help at this point at slowing the rate. No one can buy any. You could make them but you'd need to carefully research how to best do that or else you're taking a real gamble and may just give yourself a false sense of security. And even if you do manage to make them (and I'm going to start doing that) there's no hard scientific evidence that even carefully chosen materials will give full protection. Glove usage may also help, but they cannot be found either and those that I see wearing them really aren't disinfecting them, they're just using the same gloves from place to place.
