Hearing it is possible CDC recommendation will change soon - ordering everyone to start wearing masks. Which is kind of.... infuriating to me, considering they first said it would do no good, then we all ran out of them, now the hospitals ran out of them, and now they say just use bandannas etc even though there's nothing to suggest that will help either.

 

Honestly I'm good on my stock of gloves, however my mask supply is very low after needing to use so many last year. Where do they suggest we obtain them from? Of course I'm a good little researcher and I can make masks myself and intend to test out a couple different methods of filtration, however a lot of local women in the area are doing the same to donate to hospitals and there is a run on elastic, so I'll have to be more creative there. As Christian Siriano stated when he started making masks, he cannot guarantee they will work but you can make them washable/bleachable. I've yet to determine what he is using in place of elastic, because it really is impossible to find.

Make your own! That's what the Czech Republic did. Not as good as surgical masks but better than nothing. The virus spreads through droplets, so any face covering will prevent most droplets from being released into the air when you cough of sneeze and also masks will help you not touch your face.

Uh, yes. It is pretty delicious! Not a fan of the Nashville hot style that is the big thing here at the moment, but there are some great places. Trying to see if Roscoe's will deliver out here. Their chicken and waffles are so, so good.
