I wonder if they would look at doing sales by appointment only. It would limit the number of people wandering around at any given time.

Unfortunately I don't think most places will alter the way they do things unless something forces them to.

It could be the Zombie apocalypse, and we would be clearing dead walkers out of the driveway, to test drive cars. If the Govt does not mandate something forget it

I know some of us, myself included, were a bit skeptical at first. However this is getting real. I suggested today we suspend the meeting for a week or two. I did not even get an acknowledgement. I am not too worried but I do have risk factors. Not 60 yet but I do have diabetes.

The boss said he had to let me go if I wanted to, because he could be sued if he made me work and I got sick. Boy I tell you what the compassion.

Stay safe man.🌹

Fear has spread alongside the Coronavirus outbreak.

We're right to be concerned, but a microbiologist explains why we shouldn't panic and outlines some causes for optimism.

A couple of interesting findings this morning: read some research documents involving promising theory of treatment with hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin. A Chinese doctor also claims that had good results with stem cells. https://www.forbes.com/sites/marybethpfeiffer/2020/03/18/science-works-to-use-old-cheap-drugs-to-attack-coronavirus--it-might-just-work/#26834a595c49  http://www.aginganddisease.org/EN/10.14336/AD.2020.0228

And another theory about why young children may not have it so bad in certain countries - the BCG vaccination. Thinking that it provides kids some protection and perhaps even some younger adults though it wanes over time, but they could receive a booster. Of course some countries do not provide this vax. https://www.brusselstimes.com/all-news/belgium-all-news/101057/tb-vaccine-considered-in-fight-against-coronavirus/

Yeah, I saw Russia had 50+ new confirmed cases today, and seem to have positives all over the country. It doesn't look at lot different from where we were at a couple of weeks ago.

I asked my wife to tell my father in law not to go crazy, but maybe buy some TP and non perishable food now. He was laughing at how consumers reacted here a week ago, but it has pretty much been a world wide phenomenon. It could happen over there too.

Government started tests on bigger scale very, very late, so I believe there are many cases going around that are not caught (as pretty much everywhere). Additionally, there's a lot of "virus non believers" very active on social medial and IRL which sure does not help either. But grechka, salt, sugar etc. are all disappearing from store shelves anyway!

Dating before coronavirus:

-Is he stable? -Does he have a good job? -Could I see myself marrying him?

Dating during coronavirus:

-How many packs of toilet paper can he carry at once? -Could I see myself quarantined with him? -Does he have post-apocalyptic warlord potential?

Is it wrong that I considered the "during coronavirus" attributes before the current crisis hit? (Esp. the post-apocalyptic warlord potential issue, v important.)

I do not think so, the Post Apocalyptic Warlord potentiality is always important.
