Honestly, anyone watching the data should be able to see this(I mentioned it 2 months ago) but I'm glad there's finally some confirmation.

 

This is also very common with viruses. Only in the movies are mutations usually a bad thing. Those fearing mutations don't realize most of the time it makes the virus less lethal, and the more it mutates the better. Because viruses need a host to live off of, they don't want to kill it. So they adapt.

I know, this seems obvious to anyone who has some knowledge of how past viral pandemics have progressed, but of course it would not fit the narrative the activist Leftist Media wants to portray about this thing and attempt to place all the blame on the WH.

While I was debating with someone on FB in the local politics page they tried to say that "you’ve heard of the continent of Europe? They had more cases than us (per capita). Now, we have 10 times as many new cases as in Europe (per capita). Do you think the leaders of France, Germany or Italy called it a hoax?"

 

I went on to post stories from today showing that those countries have had the largest reports of cases since April in the last week. So that means that no those countries haven't had a handle on it at all. Needless to say I haven't heard anything back since then. It's so hard sometimes when they get proven wrong with actual facts and not assumptions and then they won't respond anymore

Sort of a crossover with the Derailment Exempt thread, but I need some input:

 

So we have decided that we need to have a night or two away, mostly for my sanity. Trying to decide between a few options -- do we go up the coast (thinking Santa Barbara -- too many fires now to go further north) or do we go out to Palm Springs and do the luxe in the desert thing? I am so unsure about whether it's safe to travel right now. And then I worry I'm being overly safe, overly cautious. I know we have some intrepid explorers out there (I am thinking of you @OriZ and @Voice of Reason) -- would you go for it, and if so, which would you pick? Santa Barbara will be temperature cooler, but PS has the option of mineral springs.... 

 

I asked Alex what he prefers and he said he wants to go wherever I will be, which was totally useless but completely sweet.
