Sad day yesterday. Family and patients the chief of the ICU helped to save remember the life of such a fantastic doctor and good man.

As he lay dying, about 20 colleagues held a vigil and placed their blue-gloved hands on him.

“Those who cared for Joe were his best friends,” Hart said. “A housekeeper who knelt by his bed and shook with grief said, ‘I’m now losing my best friend.’”

Hart said he placed his cheek next to Costa’s and held his husband in his arms until he died around 4:45 a.m.

Sure. But criticizing other brides' wedding dresses is a pastime for brides. 

 

I am not posting mine -- I'm sure there will be some... opinions.

 

Back to topic, there is an outbreak at a local grocer nearby. I haven't shopped at them in several months but I know my next door neighbors do. We have had several days in the county of our R number staying steady around 1.04. Deaths and hospitalizations are falling. Very, very early days but hopefully the restrictions coming back in place will help us more.

Ew. Even in non-pandemic times, I feel like a person going to that party might have picked up a disease or two just by attending. :dead: 

 

The idea of attending a house party in New Jersey with 700 people makes me anxious. Might be time to start drinking -- alcohol is a disinfectant. :idea:

I'm confused about his timeline, but this guy......  It sounds like he knew about his positive status in the morning, but still attended the hearing without wearing a mask and was in contact with the AG (also not wearing mask).
