I saw it on foxnews

I haven't changed anything in my life so far.  I go out when I need to.  About the only thing different for me is that I now stop by several neighbor's houses to see if they need anything while I am out.  Two bodies "at risk" vs. 10-12, Yanno?

I have changed sooo much. I used to work from home. Now I work from home with my kids bothering be and getting in my way. I used to go out to eat 5 times a week. Now I can’t go out at all. I used to not yell at my kids about wasting toilet paper. Now freak out every day. We have six rolls left with no relief in sight.

I have a plane ticket to Ukraine on April 3. I was supposed to meet my fiancé, go to our embassy together, then bring her home. Now, Ukraine’s borders are closed until April 3 and the embassy is not taking any new appointments... but our deadline to make an appointment is May 21. I have no idea what to do.

Apparently it's not enough that Cuomo is acting as the de facto president. Must be a dent to his ego that his governors are acting more useful and presidential than himself.

Let's see.  Cuomo.  Isn't he the guy who has wasted $10bil in NY lately, with no positive gains in NY?  And who was it that allowed criminals to be released as opposed to being held on bail  in NY?

Sorry, I don't see Cuomo as acting ANYTHING like what is good for the people he serves.

Quote

Since taking office in 2011, Gov. Cuomo has doled out more than $10 billion in public funding and tax breaks in the name of economic development — costly giveaways that have resulted in a series of broken promises and boondoggles.

Welcome to Andy Land.

“Many of these so-called economic-development projects deliver little more than ribbon-cutting photo ops for the politicians involved,” said Tim Hoefer of the Empire Center for Public Policy, a fiscally conservative think tank in Albany.

Even worse, some have bankrolled graft and corruption that led to the convictions of two former Cuomo aides and three developers, all of whom now face decades in prison.

Sorry m8.  I went out to eat last night.  No lines, it was peaceful.  Here at home, life is great.

As for your Ukraine plight, re-book your ticket now for a later date.  There should be no fees for doing such.  Not sure whether you should make it for 7 or 14 days later, but later is definitely in order.  The good news is that there should be plenty of open seats available for you to change into.  Hopefully someone in the Ukraine forum will be able to give you better insight.  I'm sure you're not the only one facing this mess.

If you shop on Amazon, toilet paper, while harder to find, is not non-existent.    https://www.amazon.com/Hillary-Bill-Sex-Victor-Thorn/dp/097857334X/ref=sr_1_7?keywords=hillary+clinton+book&qid=1584413512&sr=8-7

Of COURSE you get poo on your hand silly!  That's what the soap and water are for afterwards.  No different than changing a baby's diaper.  Or cleaning the crack of an elderly person.  It's how they do it in MANY countries to this day.

Wait, that was poo on my hand ?

I haven't changed a diaper in a while -- I babysat in high school, sure, and did it then. And then I think the only time as an adult was as a favor to Alex's ex-wife at their daughter's christening, and I had some assistance from a friend.

I do get that it's how it's done in many countries, but generally not in this one. I like my toilet tissue. :D No shame in the loo roll game.

Part of me hopes you never have to find out.  But another part hopes it happens, and you choose to share it with us!

My life has changed. Before this they didn't take my temperature at work twice a day. I just thank God rectal thermometers are no longer in style. I have also never seen anyone steal the hand sanitizer from the hospital lobby until this week. Unfortunately it's foaming and only works with the dispenser that was left attached to the wall.  I suppose I wouldn't expect someone who would steal sanitizer from a medical facility to be the sharpest tool in the shed anyway.

I have also never seen anyone buying two shopping carts full of TP or fighting over same until last week. When I lived in Hawaii, I saw TP cleared out many times when a hurricane was imminent, but I have never seen it as something people were ready to kill for.  I would have stopped watching, but all other sporting events had already been cancelled so I was stuck with that gruesome spectacle.

You better be praying (and voting) that Bernie doesn't get elected, or these things will become even more common.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Dem impeachment lawyer tests positive for coronavirus, blasts Trump over response

The top lawyer for Democrats during the House impeachment inquiry has confirmed that he tested positive for the novel coronavirus — while simultaneously accusing the Trump administration of being “shockingly unprepared” for the pandemic.

Daniel Goldman, who conducted much of the questioning for House Intelligence Committee Democrats during the impeachment inquiry last year, tweeted Sunday that he has COVID-19, the disease caused by the virus.

“My #COVID19 test came back positive. I want to thank everyone for the outpouring of support. It means a lot to my family and me,” he tweeted. “I am almost back to 100%. I’m lucky enough not to fall in the vulnerable category and, for me, it was just like the flu.”

Lets all shed a tear for someone who spreads divisiveness like the plague.

Interesting article/advice:

Four-year-old girl with coronavirus symptoms started 'panting, shaking and vomiting' after her father gave her ibuprofen to combat illness – as NHS withdraws advice telling sufferers to take it

Britons with coronavirus symptoms are being warned not to take ibuprofen after a four-year-old girl became seriously ill after being given the painkiller.

Amelia Milner, four, was given ibuprofen by her parents after she became ill with a cough and a fever – the hallmark symptoms of the deadly infection.

But, instead of making her feel better, the painkiller made her temperature spike and she began shaking, panting, couldn't keep her eyes open and vomited, according to her step-father, Dan Collins.

Mr Collins' warning comes as the NHS today withdrew its official advice that told coronavirus patients to take ibuprofen to fight off symptoms – instead infected Brits should only rely on paracetamol.

French health minister Olivier Véran prompted questions over the NHS advice when he said anti-inflammatories, such as ibuprofen, could 'aggravate the infection'.

Other leading medics echoed his concerns, admitting the over-the-counter drug may dampen the immune system and even slow down recovery.

Experts say the popular pill works by reducing inflammation, which is the immune system's natural response to an infection. Therefore, preventing it from happening could make people less able to fight off an illness.

In a moving Facebook post, Mr Collins shared a photo of Amelia and warned: 'If your child has symptoms of coronavirus, DO NOT give them ibuprofen.

Amelia was given ibuprofen because her parents were unable to get any Calpol. She has not been tested for coronavirus because she is not in hospital.
