We have a very stressed and loving father here who wants to be with his little girl for her birthday, and a stepmom-to-be who doesn't want him to have to go through quarantine twice. Voices were raised and a few not nice things were said. We worked through it but he still has made no decision. In a selfish way I want this order to show him that travelling now is not a good idea. What is the worst is that both of us are coming from places of caring and love for other people.

 

Also there is a pile driver working on my block this week and it is doing my head in!

We normally use Google Hangouts for video chat -- he frequently went back and forth between CA and the UK before the poo hit the fan. It helps but... I worry. Also he would be quarantining with his ex-wife potentially -- I see this is a thing for 90 Day Fiance cast members but I am not so sure about us.....

 

And lol, if I tell him that is his new nickname I will never hear the end of how accurate it is! :rolleyes:

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Well normally all my ads are for Briogeo hair care and Charlotte Tilbury makeup, so this was odd.

 

Maybe this is a repeat of the Ashley Madison ads from last year when I was in the AirBnB?
