Are you willing to wear a shirt for the next 2 years, or 20 years?

I mean, it's also just a piece of cloth and as long as it's killing people at the current rate, I don't really have a problem with wearing a mask. Once there's a vaccine we hopefully won't have to anymore though.

Yes, I am, because it protects me from getting a sunburn.  Also, wearing one isn't likely to stress my heart out like a mask will when I am inhaling a 30-60% higher amount of CO2 with each breath. Particularly when covid has such a low chance of death.

You feel antagonized when people post about wearing (or not) masks?  If so, you might want to get some help with that.  This world today is not going to be a safe place in general.

I believe masks help slow the spread of the virus.

Dont wear one unless required. Store, Doctor etc. Its just too uncomfortable

That CO2 thing isn't true.

And as many of us have said repeatedly, it isn't just about mortality rates. Being sick enough to get hospitalized is significantly more likely than dying, and it's not just older people, immunocompromised people, people with underlying health conditions who are getting hospitalized. I hear about the number of healthy young people in their 20s and 30s getting hospitalized and I am not willing to take chances. I have a fiance I need to think of, parents and a sibling and friends. A family. I do not want to get sick, and if I do, I do not want to get others sick. I rarely spend massive amounts of time doing much outside of the home besides a weekly shop and a daily walk. If I had a job to go to, I would probably be ticked off I had to wear a mask for hours a day. But I speak to the people at my grocery store and they say, we do it because we care about ourselves, our families, and our customers. Not just because we have to to stay working here.

Who really wants to wear a face covering? I don't. It's uncomfortable, it makes it difficult to be understood at times, and now it's getting warmer it's just yucky. But I do it because I care about other people's comfort in addition to my own.

Family unfriendly wasn't the only criteria.  If they were posted with a particular political slant, they often got removed.

You betcha.  Reply by meme in general was frowned on. It was just a phase.  Glad moderation in general has improved.

If you truly believe that, stick a paper bag on your face and breathe for an hour.  Or just 15 minutes.

As to the rest, people get sick.  Some die.  That is part of the circle of life.  Disease tends to snatch the weaker, sadly, but that's how it works.  Just lost a friend the other day to an aneurism.  11 years younger than me, in great shape, and he was a great person.  Sux, but it was his time to go.

Whether it's covid, the flu, cancer, heart disease, a bus, a snake in the grass, getting hit by a mortar while running to a bunker, or falling off a cliff while hiking...  when it's our time to go, it's just time.  No mask or suit of armor will make much of a difference.  I wear a mask when I have to, and other times I do not, and thus far, I'm still here to share my reasonable insights with y'all.  Not required that you agree with me, nor that you change how you do you, of course.  Here's hoping none of us have to find out what it's like to NOT be asymptomatic if we get infected.

I will also add that when I see people driving in a vehicle, alone, wearing a mask, I really have to SMH.

I don't, but it's literally a woman trying to troll people irl in that photo. She doesn't get more than a sigh and an eye roll, but clearly her goal is to get people to yell at her and by extension, so is the photo.

Yeah, that's not even close to the same thing.

Why run to a bunker during a mortar attack to socially distance yourself from a mortar shell. I mean if its your time its your time right ?

The more illogical people get in their behavior about the simplest of safety measures, the more I'm convinced we are de-evolving as a species.
