I'm sure those conditions are not just in India.  Probably 90% of the masks made outside the USA (which is probably 90% of all masks made?) have similar issues.

Doesn't say they were made in an Indian sweatshop, so probably safe.  Amazon wouldn't sell it if it wasn't, right?

Currently there really many mask products sold at amazon that are coming from what I'd say was a reputable seller - just like many of the hard to find items now. The one you quote here has fairly poor reviews. There are good made in the USA brands available, cloth and reusable. For a more fashionable look VIDA and Outdoor Research is getting popular. Not really into the disposable ones at the moment because doctors are very desperate for them, but Walmart and some of the food clubs does have some in stock these days. No problem with making your own, faster and cheaper, customization for your face, and easy to care for.

I just gave blood. I can say it wasnt the tightest corona protocols ever. I saw some gloves not being changed. The most bizarre. They made me pull down my mask to use an oral thermometer.  Mask required

Ugh. It's getting very hard to get the contact-less thermometer (well.. ANY thermometer) these days. I know one of my doctors took weeks just to get one in, so they weren't even checking us when coming. Some practices and organizations really prepared ahead of time and that saved precious resources.

I think it's a little easier now.  First one I ordered, before we officially went back to work, took a very long time.  Last one I ordered came quickly, but the prices are up.   We use a 1% H2O2 prerinse on our patients, and it's been a little difficult at times to find H2O2, so every time I see it I pick some up.  Guess we have all learned that in these uncertain times never run short on necessary supplies.

I have noticed my reads me around 96.5 to 97.3 and today I was 98.2

   Skin temperature changes quickly depending on the ambient temperature and activity level. At work we do the scanner but if its below 96.5 or above 99, they take an oral temperature. It’s a pain, but it’s more accurate.

The order requires Texans living in counties with 20 or more positive COVID-19 cases to wear a face covering over the nose and mouth while inside a business or other building open to the public, as well as outdoor public spaces, whenever social distancing is not possible. But it provides several exceptions, including children who are younger than 10 years old, people who have a medical condition that prevents them from wearing a mask, people who are eating or drinking and people who are exercising outdoors.

The mask order goes into effect at 12:01 p.m. Friday.

Just saw a box a neighbor bought on Amazon.  The only thing it said on the box about origins was "imported by Reach corporation".  But not from WHERE it was imported.
