I agree with you $110%.  I wear a mask to protect other people.  But other people are too rude and selfish to wear a mask to protect me.

that's kinda how i feel about people who don't conceal carry either.

You gonna wear a mask daily for the rest of your life?

If that is what is necessary.  I feel like it might be necessary to wear a mask until a vaccine is available.  Perhaps things will get better before then.  But it is bad here in Palm Beach County right now and I am not in any hurry to die.

Old, serious existing conditions and male seem to be the main factors, very few people who get it die, if they are not in the above categories it is very rare.

True but people still get sick, very sick, who don't fall into those categories. And people who are not symptomatic at all can pass on to people in those cateogries.

I know people who have had it, one certainly ticked all the boxes yet he recovered. There are so many things that can get you, so the thing you need to ask is how does this compare, how serious is it, and I find it difficult if not impossible to get good data.

I wonder how many people have died or had their health condition seriously impaired due to lack of normal health cover access.

I would be interested is seeing an actuarial assessment, I have CNN on at the moment and what I would like to see but do not is serious coverage, too many scare stories. Give me some facts.

Nobody has died of this in my County, we have had quite a few road deaths over the period. Nobody is stopping driving.

I think these are decent and serious questions, some of which we won't be able to answer until we have a vaccine and the virus is under control. Scare stories are unfortunately the order of the day on all sides right now, but there are people who are looking at these types of issues. I wonder what actuarial puvlications are writing about these topics now.

I guess the thing about driving is that there are many ways to limit the risks of the activity that we know about, and because COVID19 is novel, there so much we still don't know about limiting the risks effectively.

The Novel aspect, the comparison would be that if I got killed in a car accident here I may get a mention in the local paper, COVID absolutley. May even make the Denver media.

I know people that have survived lung cancer, dies not mean I want it..but seriously

I dont have an answer, becuse there is no good answer. You cant shut the country down forever. This thing is way more serious than the flu, its not a hoax but life has to go on

I wouldn't hold your breath on a vaccine.  Consider the common cold vs covid.
