Avocado Pizza, that would be better!

You know, I am looking at that pizza (crust looks VERY nice) and wondering why it is on a fish and chips wrapper?

Ask your local Trustafarian.

I'm not well so I get special dispensation. Also it is my birthday month.

ON TOPIC: I booked both of us in for COVID-19 testing for Thursday morning, which is the soonest I could get reservations. Hoping for the best here for us both.

Edit to add: theoretically, it WAS on topic because I may have the 'rona. If I do, then it was within the general concept of "All Things Coronavirus."

Had to make an appointment two days away?  Here we have had walk up and drive up testing sites with no appointment, but many are closing now because of a lack of demand.

If I were a first responder or worked in an essential business, I could have had one today. But I'm not, so nope. Also if I wanted one today I could have had one, but I would have to have paid or needed a referral. I can wait while I self-isolate. :)  If I'd asked for one this morning, it's likely I'd have gotten one tomorrow. There were slots for ones tomorrow in other testing centers but they were far away (over 25 miles) and I don't think he or I should be driving that far right now if we're unwell. (Although he seems to be perking up now, of course. -_-)

Our R number is under 1 now in the county, but there's still a lot of demand for testing. Everyone is being advised to get tested, symptoms or not. If people aren't getting tested and haven't been tested before, it doesn't mean necessarily that there is less of the virus, but as you say less demand. Demand isn't necessarily linked with need.

Good news here for us in LA County! https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2020-05-26/los-angeles-county-reopens-with-new-state-guidelines-while-city-allows-in-store-shopping

Still going to be self-isolating until I get test results though. Some improvement overnight, my chest seems to have improved and my breathing a lot less labored. Temperature went up again before bedtime but has dropped to 98.9F. Just exhausted now.
