my attorney said a certified translation may suffice. To be safe, i still went ahead and did the foreign credential evaluation. The problem is, all the naces member either request original degree AND transcript, or request it to be sent to them directly by the school, and WES and ECE even request the validation from the Ministry of Education from China. This is simply not realistic in this covid-19 era. I end up used American Education and Translation services, corp, a non-naces member. They did validation online and send back my report in a few days. They claim they never had any problem with USCIS , the the link for NACES is only a recommendation, not mandatory. Crossing my fingers.

If you have all the original credentials with you, you may probably go with a NACES member. Otherwise, you may use a non-naces member like american education and translation service, who has the capability of validating the foreign credentials online. Alternatively, according to my attorney, if you know a US university professor who is willing to give you a recommendation for your foreign degree, he may also write a letter.

did you include ANY evidence for your degree with your I-944?

No not at all, nothing what so ever. I believe the i-944 has been stopped has it not? as in you no longer need to fill it in anymore

There's still no official. updates from USCIS. I would say to just continue gathering the requirements. This I-944 would probably be required again unless there's a change of leader at The White House 🙄

Unfortunately we cannot get ALL the documents required.  In particular, the education equivalency for his degree.  It would take too long and his tourist visa would expire by the time we got it.  I guess we can just send in what we got.

Read this:

After Feinerman’s order in the Northern District of Illinois, a US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) official emailed immigration officers across the country informing them that the “judgment is applicable nationwide and is effective immediately.”

“USCIS must immediately cease implementing the public charge final rule,” wrote Daniel Renaud, a lead USCIS official.

I am also adjusting from B2 visa. Overstay is forgiven since you two are now married. Just to add, I got my education evaluated by IEE. I sent them a scanned copy and they provided me a "provisional copy" which I submitted to USCIS. I can get an actual copy from IEE when I get my original transcript from my school sent to me within 6 months of payment.

Hello All,

My wife is going to get RFE for not submitting the education equivalency for her high school diploma and degree. She just got a notification in the USCIS app. What is the best and cheapest service to use to get this done?
