Visa refused due to Medical results not arriving at Embassy

Hey Guys,

 

I had my interview at the Embassy on Wednesday 11th March (Yesterday). They said they couldnt approve my visa then and there due to them not receiving my medical results yet(i took the medical a week before my interview). I assume my results would have either arrived yesterday afternoon or today. I spoke to the medical centre and they said everything is fine with my results which is good so its just a wait for me...

I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else and if they can advise on how long its going to take for me to receive my visa and passport back?

I've noticed if people were approved at the embassy it took 3-5 days to receive their visas, so i was assuming mine would be a couple days longer?

Everyone who either is missing documentation or medical exam results, and there have been quite a few thousand before you, there will be a wait time till the have everything they need to finish the adjudication of your visa.

 

NO ONE can tell you with any certainty when that will happen. Keep checking CEAC.state.gov and when you can only get results using "non-immigrant" you will be close to receiving your visa.

Receipt EAD/AP May 30, 2014 Received combo card EAD/AP

Green Card Approved July 11, 2014 Approved, no interview. Went to card production.

Green Card received July 17, 2014 GC received without interview

Removal of Conditions

Mailed I-751 Dec 16, 2015 Submitted ROC (removal of conditions)

Received Dec 18, 2015 USPS notification of successful delivery

Check Cashed Dec 21, 2015 Check was cashed

NOA-1 Issued Dec 21, 2015 NOA-1 for ROC issued

NOA-1 Issued Dec 26, 2015 NOA-1 Received

Biometrics Appt. Jan 29, 2016 Biometrics Appointment Scheduled [Completed]

Couple days,  couple weeks,  maybe a month
