Congrats!

Unfortunately mine is not in the court setting :(

Mine is in the regular building, Federal Plaza - no news about that one!

(In Manhattan, there are 2 sites - one for court ceremonies and one for non-court ceremonies....mine is a non-court ceremony)

A couple of hours ago I had my oath ceremony de-scheduled:

This is to advise you that, due to unforeseen circumstances, we have had to cancel the previously scheduled Oath Ceremony on Friday, April 03, 2020 for the above applicant. We regret any inconvenience this may cause.
We will advise you of any further action taken on this case, including any rescheduled interview appointment information, under separate notice.
If you have any questions or comments regarding this notice or the status of your case, please contact the USCIS Contact Center toll free at1-800-375-5283. If you are hearing impaired, please call the USCIS Contact Center TDD at 1-800-767-1833.

After my last interview I was asked if I wanted the closest available location being South Bend, Fort Wayne, Or Indianapolis, or first available location, I chose the first available location and was scheduled for an oath ceremony at the following location in South Bend:

101 Washington Hall
Notre Dame IN 46556

I must admit only being three weeks away from my oath ceremony and having it cancelled on me is quite depressing/disheartening.  Since the contact center is open 8am-8pm, it's beyond the time I can call to confirm this is due to coronavirus.

Dallas has officially banned gatherings of 500 people or more.

I’m sure my oath will be cancelled.

Firstly, your reaction is 1000% understandable. We have all come so close and now at the last hour are dealing with oath cancellations and/or worrying about the possibility.

Secondly, I think it's safe to say this cancellation was 100% due to coronavirus....the list of cancellations is now long.

You will be a citizen soon. We have to focus on that...

My idea was to keep one list of all the officially cancelled ceremonies so nobody has to go through a bunch of posts or comments to find info. Love the table N400NYC made, and have no idea how update it  :) .

Please keep all discussions and speculations out of this thread, it just makes it so much harder to quickly spot if your area is seeing cancellations or not.

I don't either other than to update my own excel table and repost it here! You might have noticed by this point that the topic is of interest to me lol! So I don't mind continuing to add to the table as information comes in.

I don’t see anyone from San Diego (scheduled to March 25) posted anything yet, but San Diego County has issued ban for gatherings of 250 people or more. Normally the monthly oath ceremony in San Diego welcomes around 1000 new citizens at Golden Hall in downtown.

I just checked my uscis acct it still shows we scheduled your oath ceremony. I expect to see the de-schedule notice very soon.

This is so beyond frustrating. And god knows how many more months we have to wait? It was so close but suddenly so far away...

Any San Diegan here to share the info?

My husband's didn't get cancelled; he didn't ever get the letter...so even though approved, it won't happen for a while. :(

Court hosted naturalization events scheduled before May 1, 2020, are cancelled. This order does not, however, impact the authority of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services to conduct administrative naturalization ceremonies.

Houston TX March 18th Per other online forum

I called USCIS to confirm that the Houston ceremony was indeed cancelled. Spent about 40 minutes navigating their maze of different options and finally reached someone. The operator took some time to confirm it, several double checks, but confirmed it is "descheduled" and a new date has not yet been announced. I queried why USCIS aren't notifying people in online accounts, on the website or via mail, but of course she did not know. My guess is this is evolving at such a fast pace they can't keep up; but its easy to criticize.

I just want to caution folks to make your own inquiries about cancellations and verify the information you're seeing here, elsewhere on forums, or from other sources.

Had our oath ceremony last Friday!

The next one was supposed to be today...this Friday...but it looks like they re-scheduled it for earlier...and had it on Tuesday, March 10th.

Good if they did.

SMH...what a mess.

Sorry Guys.

Hang in there.

P.S. We filed the passport application on Tuesday. Wonder how much longer it might take for that now.

Stay healthy everybody.

We are CLEARLY ALL IN THIS TOGETHER!!!

Profile pic - Rainbow Tower of the Hilton Hawaiian Village - Waikiki, Honolulu, Hawaii.

Why this for the profile pic?  Often in movies and on TV when they show Hawaii they show this beach/view. So, instead of doing Kauai or some other locale, we decided to do here, so that whenever some show shows Hawaii and this view, we will see where we were married.

BENEFICIARY (From Dubai)

2012 - US Tourist Visa, Manila, Philippines

2012 - First Night spent in the US - Waikiki Beach, Honolulu

2016 - Wedding on the beach, Honolulu, Hawaii

Spouse hung out here with celebrities from the movie The Fifth Element back when he moved to Hawaii

2016 - US Spousal Visa, via DCF, Manila, Philippines

PETITIONER (from NYC)

1999 - Got a place right down the street from this hotel - Waikiki, Honolulu, Hawaii

2007 - Visited Philippines on vacation

2008 - Got a condo in Makati, PH

2012 - Considered for a role on the TV show, The Last Resort, shot out of Hawaii
