We received text and mail confirmation about all of our AOS applications received and being processed.  Now we are waiting for the mail saying when the biometrics will be.

QUESTION :  Now that we are in the system with MSC numbers, are we able to call our local office and find out when the biometrics is scheduled for?  Or even request an earlier appointment?  Planning a family vacation and want to make sure we plan around biometrics.

THANK YOU!!!

No. You can however try to walk in earlier than the appointment date with the appointment letter in your hand. No guarantees though.

Thanks!  Do you know if they update biometrics appointment as well on the USCIS website portal?  I think i have a concern that the sanil mail will arrive after the actual appointment time .

In my case no explicit status and certainly not a date mentioned in the portal. The closest thing that comes to that was a status update indicating that they have accepted the fingerprint fee.

Same here.  Don't get me wrong.  After three weeks of it being in the lockbox blackhole, it's AMAZING to be int he system at all.  So happy about that!

Not that we are super excited about going into a crowded government office right now, anyway. 😊
