Newark POE experience

Hi everyone,

Manoj cleared POE Newark with no issues. We're sitting in the airport now waiting for our connecting flight. Fortunately since our flight landed at 4:45 a.m. there was only one other person waiting for clearance. When we went through passport control, we were sent downstairs to the immigration area. The gentleman at the door took the brown envelope and told him to wait. I went to collect our bags while Manoj waited. By the time I got our bags, Manoj was already standing behind me ready to go.

Manoj said he was asked no questions whatsoever..that the Immigration officer just called his name, gave him his passport with the I94 stapled in it and gave him the application for EAD. That was it!

He said the other woman before him was being asked a bunch of questions. Thanks again everyone for the well wishes. Manoj is like a kid in a candy store, roaming around taking everything in. Have a great day everyone!
