Hello All,

I am so excited to just get the process started so Michelle and I can be together as soon as possible. I understand we still have a long way to go but it is nice to just start the process.

I know my questions are going to sound rudimentary to some so please bear with me. I am station on the island of Guam and was planning on send my package via USPS Delivery Conf and Return Receipt. My question is should I place all the paper work in nice folder or just leave it lose in the envelope. What did you do?

Also, I just wanted to make sure I was sending it to the right address. Here is the one I got off the USCIS Center website. Is this the right one?

U.S. Department of Homeland Security

US Citizenship and Immigration Services

California Service Center

24000 Avila Road, 2nd Floor, Room 2312

Laguna Niguel, CA 92677

Thanks to all of you for the help and support. Whish Michelle and I lots of luck and pray for a smooth process.

Thanks – TJ

What's up Travis. Gotta work tomorrow, so staying home on a Friday night,(sad). Anyway, organize all your stuff(papers) in the correct order. Then on the top use a two hole punch and make HOLES in all the papers. Use ASCO clips ( I think that's the correct name) It's the type of holders, clips, that come in two pieces. The part you put through the holes looks like a big letter U. The second piece is a flat piece of metal with sliders on it. Put the "U" part through the papers the bend over the excess and secure it with the flat piece. I put all the papers, secured this way, in a big brown envelope and that was it.

The address does not look familiar, I Could be wrong though.

Make sure you send some pictures and supporting evidence. You in the Service? I used to be ARMY.

That other address looks a little more familiar. I'm NOT 100%. Its been a little while since i sent mine there. The first one you posted did not look familiar at all. Got out of the service cause we were scheduled for ANOTHER year or 15 months in the sand. NO THANKS....Good luck

Thanks and I can understand the sand ref. I have a couple of shipmate that just got assigned to my unit from Iraq and they like what they were doing over there but they are glade to be somewhat home (USA).

Take it easy and goodluck - Travis
