13) Cyprus -  mandatory quarantine if visitors have travelled to Italy, Iran, South Korea and China’s Hubei Province. self quarantine  for visitors who have travelled to Japan, Hong Kong, Germany, France, Spain, Greece (Achaea, Elis and Zakynthos areas), Switzerland and the UK.

14) Czech Republic - closed to tourists 

15) Estonia - forced quarantine for visitors for 14 days 

16) Hungary - blocking entry to travelers from Italy, China, South Korea and Iran for now

17) Malta - self quarantine for all tourists

18) Slovakia - closed to all foreigners

19) India closed for all visitors and indian citizens returning from hot zones will be quarantined for 14 days on arrival

20) France - Complete lock down midnight today 

 

 

Hello! Can you please add El Salvador, Central America- Closed Borders (residents have to go to quarantine, foreigners aren't allowed); to your list? 

We are a tiny country, and might not be as relevant, but we belong in the list. Thanks! 😊

It only makes sense to put them in the ban list also because everyone is just traveling to the UK and Ireland then USA.

They're about to turn it into lockdown, but for now, there are departing flights to the US, Canada and South America; I'm assuming some are connecting flights.

Wondering if anyone by chance may have information on the below.

 

I am a UK citizen currently in London, UK. My wife is an American citizen currently in San Antonio, Texas.

 

The U.S. has just included the UK as part of the travel ban inbound to the US - effective 16 March 2020.

 

I have an outbound flight from London, UK on 26 March 2020 and I wondered if I was exempt from this as a spouse of an American citizen?

any flight that leaves after  monday midnight  Eastern time will not be allowed to land .

To be clear they will still be flying, freight apart from anything else and as has been mentioned not everybody is banned.

 

Also there is the issue of keeping their slots, especially prime time at busy hubs.

We're supposed to be flying FRA to DFW on Tuesday... Fingers crossed we make it! We'll be in self-isolation for 2 weeks but that's no big deal as we both work from home. This is such a stressful situation for everyone, but hopefully everything works out (to "flatten the curve") and we can all move on.

It's not the flights that are banned, just foreign nationals that would have been on them, save for a select few. Airlines aren't going to inbound to the U.S; USC and LPR's. Code share and partner airlines do their best to get people home via 3rd countries. These countries  are drying up though.
