I don't see any hard end date. It doesn't really matter.  It can be extended or terminated at the discretion of the POTUS.

"Sec. 4 TerminationThis proclamation shall remain in effect until terminated by the President.  The Secretary of Health and Human Services shall recommend that the President continue, modify, or terminate this proclamation as described in section 5 of Proclamation 9984, as amended."

most likely every country will enforce borders and shut down air traffic. this is just my opinion. Globalization is brought to its knees

Our wedding is booked for May 30th, 2020, and we have many people planning to fly in from Europe for the wedding. I am wondering if anyone is going through the same thing or has any advice/guidance on how we can move forward.

My local news has done interviews with wedding vendors and they were allowing cancellations or rebookings with no hassle.  You might want to touch base with them. My state is asking all events over 250 be cancelled. Depends on your area.

Not to you specifically—This is getting quite serious by the day/hr and people really need to modify their lifestyle because the potential for exponential growth is very real.  Stay home when possible. Get groceries before your store shelves are empty.  Do your part to heed your public officials.  This isn’t a time for cavalier attitudes. Your visas and travel will all be sorted in time, but the world is  having a crises right now so look beyond your wishes at the bigger picture.  There is a massive amount of disappointment right now because lives are being interrupted. Do whatever you can to avoid the spread.

Should have happened in the first place.  A blanket ban excusing the UK and Ireland was a bit ridiculous.  Well, there goes any hope people had about hopping over to the UK to get a flight out or quarantine there for 14 days.

Well, it inevitably will come true as most airlines will cancel 99% of their flights now.

That was likely one of the reasons (along with the big increase in Coronavirus cases in the UK) for adding the UK and Ireland - people using the UK as a stepping stone to get in here. Whilst most would follow the rules and quarantine for 14 days before coming and be able to truthfully say that they had not been in one of the “banned” countries for the past 14 days. But others would have lied and denied having been in a “banned” country.

Correct. The restrictions do not apply to USCs or LPRs. Flight capacity has been reduced considerably. And health screening upon arrival and you must enter through a CDC-approved airport. The big international airports are approved. RDU and CLT, for example, are not.

We are certainly cancelling “99%” of our international flights. Around 30% at the moment. The planes also carry necessary cargo, freight and mail. We can’t cancel 99% or the economy would completely collapse. We need to continue exporting if nothing else.
