DS 160 number for appointment

I was just looking at the scheduling page as it has this notice, however I did not see a place to put the DS 160 #.

Attention: Please note, it is vital that you provide the valid and correct DS-160 confirmation number when you schedule an appointment. If the confirmation number is invalid or incorrectly entered, you will not be admitted to the interview and you will be required to book a new appointment. When applying as part of a family or group, make sure that each applicant has correctly provided their individual DS-160 confirmation number when scheduling their appointment.

Are you on the Immigrant Visa or non-immigrant for scheduling ?   Make you are scheduling for an Immigrant Visa appt.

Sound like you are scheduling for a non-immigrant which is wrong

OK  you are in the correct area.  That language regarding the DS-160 is very non-immigrant directed.

The immigrant visa does not "tie" to the DS-160 or its number, so relax ... not needed to schedule

You should have that image removed as it has personal information.

I asked a mod to remove it.
