Hi Visa Journey,

I recently got an RFE and they were asking if I met my fiance through International Marriage Broker.

When I first submit our I-129F, we did not mentioned that we met on Tinder but we did attached Evidence of Relationship. And I was wonder if I should mentioned now that we have met on Tinder along with cover letter, Tinder's Terms of Service?

Please help a sister out! Appreciate it.

I would stick to your original submission on the I-129F.  However, in the cover letter do state that you met on Tinder, which is a voluntary online platform where people can voluntarily meet one another, etc.  Definitely include the Terms of Service and Use (and any other documentation Tinder provides) to show you BOTH made the individual choice to join Tinder, which is NOT an IMBRA.  Thus, there was no contract or money involved, etc. when deciding to engage in a relationship.

If you didnt tick the box about how you met it's just for you to tick it no and nothing else , just follow the instructions that you find in the RFE ,I had same case but what it requires is to tick yes or no in the box .

Hi Dessy,

In my RFE form iststates COMPLETE QUESTIONS LEFT INCOMPLETE.

Was it the same for your RFE as well? Cause I couldn't recall if I have ticked the box or not.

Hi Visa Journey,

My K1 RFE only states that I need to "COMPLETE QUESTION LEFT INCOMPLETE" as picture attached.

Should I simply just tick the correct answer and move on? Or should I provide more information?

If my answer is no, then I do not have to provide any other documents right? I just want to be sure before I send this out.

That was only the RFE we got before it was sent to the NVC

One last question, did you include any cover letter along with the RFE reply? How did you assemble your RFE reply?
