I would guess so, that it should be that way; however sometimes I believe that it depends on a moon phase and star alignments 🙄

They are not obliged to process cases in order (like from the eldest to the newest). The date of submitting I-751 will not influence (speed up) your N-400 processing. It used to be that way and there were  guidelines encouraging them to do it that way... but guidelines are soft and non-binding.

I actually just got a notification that my citizenship interview has been scheduled in a months time. I guess I have to call up and make sure it’s a joint interview.

Congratulations  and good luck on your interviews. Yes, call. We have to look after ourselves!

Hi everyone,

Even thought my local office show a long processing time for the N400, when I log in to my USCIS account, it shows that the decision to my casi should be made in around 4 months from now.

I guess I'll keep waiting 🤷

Awesome Sarah. Good luck for the interview. Is this where the citizenship test also happens.

Just finished an appointment for my biometrics for N400.

Thanks for the info. When I met in for my biometrics they provided a booklet that has 100 questions. Do we study from that for the citizenship test

Yes, it’s the 2008 version not the 2020 one which has more questions.

Hello, did anybody updated the status on social security after getting their citizenship?

I read somewhere on either this thread or the N400 thread that you need to update your social security too!

We have a Change of Address in place from September. We never got anything in the mail. I'm glad we had it on eight different calendars and tattooed on the inside of my eyelids!

Haha that is hilarious 😂
