Sooooo has anyone tried to reach USCIS over the phone in the last 2 days? I just tried since my husband is finally home on a week day and all I got was the automated voice who refused to let me talk to anyone, kept trying to email me links and ultimately said she can't help and hung up on me .... twice!!! I feel the need to drink and its only 8am..... lol

Hi, just a quick update. My card arrived today.  Expires 2030!!! 😁 this feels surreal. Such long time with this process. Next up, Citizenship!  Stay strong everyone! We will get through it!

Thank you that actually worked. I spoke with a very nice lady who tried to help me as much as she could but honestly could only tell us that someone had at least opened our file and possibly background checks and such might be in process. However, she did give me one very good piece of information. 

 

She said if you want to reach a real person say: "I NEED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT". 

 

Only real people can make appointments so the system has to send you to a representative. 

 

She also told us we can apply for the N400 even if the I-751 is not finished processing, however, before the N400 can be processed the I-751 has to be completed, but maybe it will speed up the I-751... maybe.

No nothing. Looks like they were processing cases quickly but seems to have changed processing times. It’s been extended to 17-20 months when it was 14- 18 months last week. Just waiting....

I did try to call it too last week. The result the same thing like you :(

Did you see my post above, the lady on the phone when I eventually got through using the "technical problems" line recommended I try " I need to make an appointment", they have to do the appointments the automated voice can't make them so you are always transferred to a real live person.

I think YSC is the slowest center now. They must be very backed up!

Things are starting to be moving so don’t lose faith and composure. Hello everyone! We got a notification this morning that my card is being produced! Thank you Jesus! I am praying for everyone still waiting for theirs and hoping everything goes well.  You can see more details on my timeline, now on to N400!
