Hello all, is there anyone here with case number starting WAC? I haven’t heard any update after case received. It’s been 5 mos.

WAC filer too! filed in May, no updates after NOA including biometrics ;/ Called USCIS last week asking about biometrics, the officer said WAC biometric dept reopened in July so they are taking awhile to catch up. They told us to call back after Oct 27th if we still have not received any updates on biometrics.

May 15, 2020 ROC Mailed Out

May 18, 2020 Delivered Thru USPS

June 18, 2020 submitted e-request for not getting NOA & assigned to an officer right away

I just got an update  that my case status is "initial review" and has been transferred to another USCIS office. Am suppose to receive a letter explaining where and why my case has been transferred!

Did anyone get the same update?

Thanks

They are suppose to send you a letter explaining the transfer. It's a generic one anyway. Where is your service center?

Yes this is what the email and the update status say that they gonna send me a letter. My service centre was SRC.

Did you have the same experience?  where is yours has been transferred to?

I initially thought my case was transferred to Potomac Service Center but later discovered it wasn't since I didn't get any letter to that effect. It was finally approved from SRC and the mailed card received. SRC is pretty fast so it now depends on your local field office where it seems you MIGHT be scheduled for an Interview.

So did you get an alert of a status update online or by email, like mine? and then you didn't receive any letter, and following that was your approval?

what is your PD please ?

I did not get an alert, I based my perceived transfer on an email when I made inquiry on missing receipt notice. In the email from the lockbox it mentioned my case was transferred from the texas service center to potomac service center. So I assumed my case was transferred but reading online much later and calling USCIS tier 2 officer, I found out my case was never transferred out of SRC.

PD is Feb 7th 2020.
