Mine was updated before I got the NOA and I received the NOA for fingerprints before my actual NOA-18 month extension. That’s how I knew I didn’t screw up my address! I don’t think there is any order to it but just luck. So inconsistent!

There definitely isn't a pattern, makes it even more frustrating. We just have no idea.... so much for this being a quick process and no more stress for a while. I am going to start preparing his citizenship paperwork, we can apply April 19th next year, so may as well start copious amounts of printing. Does anyone know if you can do the N-400 citizenship application online?

From today, I'm going to start using the case status webpage as well as checking my USCIS account. My account (with all the cases saved) has had no updates since 'Your case was received' but Case Status says 'Case Was Updated to Show Fingerprints Were Taken' - which I already knew, but I dislike inconsistency, especially during a process like this.

I think on the bottom of that update there is a note like saying preparing for officer review

I am a little confused, I know that for Petition of Removal of Conditions, It doesn't require to submit documents such as: passports, DS2019s, birth certificates of the spouses, did you guys submitted anyways?

I submitted both our passport copies and marriage certificate again. Just in case.. but it wasn’t required.

Hi all, this is my first post. Thank you so much for all of the information provided here. We live in WV. Due to COVID, our DMV (MVA in other states, im sure there are other acronyms) is by appt only. It is tomorrow for my husband's expired driver's license. We DO have our NOA. According to a friend who is in the same position, they accepted just her NOA and expired GC so I am hoping we have good luck. It seems our processing center is YSC and the last update we have is that they are using the Biometrics already given previously. Anyone have experience on what will happen next?

No updates so far. I think we are all at the same point of the “waiting game”. Yes he can use NOA and expired GC to get DL. Good luck!

Sarah, thanks for your reply. We had NO issues at the DMV, which surprises me. Thank you for your response, I understand it is a waiting game and we may be waiting a few years from what I was recently reading on USCIS' website. I just didn't know if we knew when we would be contacted to get a second interview date, or if that would have already happened and we won't need to get another interview, etc.

Again, thanks for all of your help!

I literally have no idea. Haha I wish we could skip that interview ha! Who knows... with Covid and possible furloughs it’s all a waiting game.

Good luck!

February 2020 filers on the VJ forum are starting to get their I-751 approvals now.

My bet is that they will waive in person interviews as much as possible for the time being.
