The stamp will be valid for 18 month she said, same as the extension letter that we didn't get

She told me that the stamp will be good enough to renew my DL and any other matter that I would need my green card for, she sounded like she knows what she is saying not only reading from a script.

Hello Manoni,

When we moved the state refused to accept the 18 month extension letter when my wife tried to change her DL from Texas to Colorado. She did obtain a stamp and they then accepted her for application for her DL change. This was before covid, of course, but just thought I'd share the fraction of experience we have had.

In my opinion, any sworn affidavits must be notarized to validate it, however, I read here on VJ that it's not that compulsory as some VJers did not include any sworn affidavits and still got their cases approved. For me I would advice, you can have it notarized...

Thank you so much!

The officer I had was very rushy... he spoke so fast and I was trying to process everything and didn’t manage to ask these questions. So thank you! Phew! Okay, I was second guessing whether to call to schedule my appointment and just wait to out in my second online inquiry. But I will do this too! Thank you for this! It has taken a HUGE amount of stress and worrying off. I honestly thought I was the only person being told to do this.

Actually I took it as a positive thing, I would encourage you to call and schedule an appointment, and still we can get that famous letter and follow up on it if it is still needed!

I am trying to get to Tier 2 representative by calling customer service at 1 (800) 375 5283 but I can't find this option in the dial in menu. What digits you folks selected to get to it?

Select the option that says you do not know your case number or do not know how to find it.

Thank you for this, at this time any small information needed for reassurance.

Thank you so much! Just had a call and it got the same reply about lockbox and non-delivery notice. No info about passport stamp.

I will now call them every day and maybe I be lucky to get to the person who will be able to assist in scheduling in appointment to get a passport stamp.

And my greencard ends on 6/11. This is so frustrating.

I did too but when trying to find out if this was something others had experienced, I found no one. I was confused I guess... So it’s great that I’m not alone going this avenue. The officer told me to call back Thursday as offices will be reopening so I’ll be able to schedule something then. I’ll follow his advice and take it from there. But thanks!!

well excuse me..... did I just get an attitude from Mr. Rick at customer service.... he did not have his coffee this morning apparently.....

But he did give me some information: He said to check the USCIS.gov website on June 4th to see if your local office is open because some have been damaged by the recent riots and may not be open on the 4th as planned. He also said that they are only making emergency appointments today and tomorrow (such as your employer wanting the ADIT stamp or proof ASAP), for everything else it can wait till the 4th or whenever the local office opens. Finally he said even to make an appointment the applicant has to be near the phone to answer questions (I am the wife and even though he has give permission several times, he has to be standing next to me each time).

Oh what joy, hope you are

Hi

We got rejected to due to wrong check amount. We resubmitted again and it was delivered to them on May 18th. however, until today, they still have not cashed our check.

SO I just want to them when did you re sent your package and if the check has been cashed yet?

Thank you and good luck

They cashed the check a few days after our resubmission was delivered, and we received the text notification with receipt number the day after the check was cashed.  Still haven't received the paper copy of the NOA, though.

02/14/2017: I-129f sent
02/17/2017: I-129f delivered (TSC)

02/27/2017: NOA1 text/email (transferred to CSC)
