Hi everyone! I finalized my packet today and will be sending out this week. Mailing out of NJ to TX, probably via FedEx. My card officially expires 7/25. My packet includes:

Cover letter (i mainly use it as a personal checklist)

Check

I-751

Supporting documents:

  1. A copy of the front and back of Resident Card.

  2. A copy of the marriage certificate

  3. A copy of our most recent car insurance bill (just included most recent, has both our names and current address)

  4. A copy of the birth certificates of our two kids

  5. A copy of my life insurance policy (just the Declarations page which has my name and beneficiaries who are my husband and kids)

  6. A Copy of the travel itinerary for our family trip taken in 2019.( 1 page)

  7. Copy of taxes for 2017, 2018 & 2019. (Just federal, they are 3 pages /year)

  8. Photo book (a simple color photobook from shutterfly. Purchased for this specifically. Felt it was easier for me to put all photos together, labeled pages by year. Shows story of our family. Not sure if they scan picture files, they may not be able to scan them since its in a book but, a lot of them they already have from initial application.)

IN other posts i noticed people were sending large packets, some with 200+ pages. Mine has only 33 pages total including the I751 which is 11 pages. Makes me a bit nerveous but hope this all is more than enough. Good luck to everyone!

You might want to consider sending hard evidence of co-habitation and joint assets. Apartment lease? Joint bills? Deed? Mortgage? Joint bank accounts/credit cards? Also consider that they want to see evidence throughout the marriage. So for the entire last two years. Evidence all gathered from the last few months could potentially raise some red flags.

Hello everyone!
I’m about to send my I-751 package soon. And I have a question about the Uscis online account number. I have an USCIS account ( used it to pay Green card fees), but I don’t see account’s  number, I’m afraid I just don’t have it for some reason. Does anybody else have the same issue ? Should I just leave that part in I-751 blank?

I kinda did the same thing. I didn't count how many pages it ended up being but definitely not more than 200 pages. After sending it, I started doubting if we should have sent more. I included our joint bank statements from last 3 months and then one statement from two years ago. I also included all our taxes. I included copies of our health and dental insurance. I forgot to include a copy of our car insurance! Darn... Anyway I feel like you'd be okay? You've got kids together and you provide taxes.. good luck to you!

Hi Everyone! We just got our text notification last night for my husband's case. Here's our timeline to share:

04/21 - Sent I-751 Package to Phoenix PO Box from Chicago

04/23 - Package accepted and signed for in Phoenix

04/27 - Credit Card charged for $680

04/29 - Text message received with case number beginning LIN

Anyone else get sent to LIN (Nebraska)? Any insight on processing times? I checked the USCIS website and it says between 14-26 months.

Good luck to all!

LIN here as well! Yeah, it looks like it has the longest projected processing times. Glad to have someone else to compare LIN timelines with!

Hello,

I included both of our birth certificates, our marriage certificates (translations for marriage and his birth certificate from english to spanish) both state drivers license, social security and passport picture biometric pages for both of us. Copies of medical insurance cards. IRS transcripts, a notarized letter from our landlord and 6 months of copies of checks for rent from our joint account. Copies of our cellphone bill for 6 months. Copies of car insurance policy showing us as both on policy.  6 months Car payment statements for the car, 6 months ez pass statements. Pictures and flights and travel information since my husband has been here. Probably a lot but I'd rather more than less. Lol

When I try to edit my timeline for the I 751 the options given are California or Vermont for CIS Service Center Lifting Field. But I sent my package to Texas.

How does it work then ? Thanks

Agreed with this - I too have spent time trying to update my timeline since I apparently didn't do each detail as it happened. In our case, for filing the I-751, we sent it to Arizona and now it's being processed at LIN (Nebraska). Not sure what is best to put down in this case...

I sent my package to TX on 4/07 but haven't heard anything or had a CC charge. My GreenCard expires on 5/08 so I'm getting a little nervous - any ideas on what I can do to check in on it?
