Hello all,

I am looking for some advice.

I am still waiting for interview to be scheduled. I submitted mine on April 2020. It has been 2 years since. I am at Texas service center, below is my timeline.

Anyone know who I can call? other than the USCIS hotline? because they are useless.

I want to email the Texas Senate, I just don't know who

Thanks!

Hi All,

My wife green card was in MSC and finally she became citizen.

Yesterday, my wife had my citizenship interview at Newark, NJ. First officer took my citizenship interview and it was really quick my wife was out in less than seven minutes and she passed the test. But officer said you need to wait outside because your green card application for 10 years is not approved yet, so I will you(wife) and me to the interview (luckily I went to the interview, I was not about to go due to work). So we waited around 2 hrs for the interview then I asked front desk what time officer will conduct interview for green card application. So front ask officer in front of us ask about what is the status of green card application. Officer said no interview for green card, I have already approved the case. Reason officer said might be it required interview but system was taking time to update green card application.

It was such a relief when I heard. Also yesterday (09/13/2022) Newark, NJ was really busy my wife appointment time was 10:30am and my wife was called in around 12:45pm

After waiting forever like everyone else my interview for the I-751 was on 09/07/2022 I got the same officer as my I-485 he asked both my husband and I what we did for work and that was it we chatted more about life and marriage but no other questions and approved it he told me he wasn’t going to order me a GC because I already filed my 400 application. my approval notice said I was approved for both the I-751 and the N-400 and I needed to be scheduled for the oath ceremony. On 11/25 got notification that an interview was scheduled for the N-400 not sure what the notice since I called to find out the date since I’m traveling twice in December luckily it 01/04 almost to the finish line good luck to everyone still waiting

We're still waiting for interview for removal of conditions.

Just received the third extension on passport, when at the office they said it hasn't been assigned to officer......since December 2020 when fingerprints were taken.

The receipt number starts with MSC, I literally just starting to think they've lost the paperwork. However they just keep saying it's going to be assigned to an officer, so useless. Just venting here.

Hey I m at the same boat. USCIS website doesn't even have my latest case status anymore. I received an 48 months extension letter. My receipt starts SRC but the letter is from national benefits center. I m getting ready to file N400.

I would file N400. When I had my interview the officer complained about how slow they can be. She requested to have my file sent over and they hadn’t done it so couldn’t complete the decision until she had it. It came after a few days but just shows they are SO slow!!

Oh gosh! Thank God yours coming in. Did you have to mentioned that your i751 is pending? I might have to the same thing. I just give my biometrics for n400. I am hoping they schedule the interview soon. It's so slow, I literally just received the 48 months extension letter on i751 too.

She interviewed both my husband and I for it first and mentioned the paperwork hasn’t come in but she will go ahead and do it anyways. Then I did the N400 interview. She said I passed everything but won’t get my citizenship until she received my documents which could take a day or two. After two days my account updated and everything was processed. Then was invited for the ceremony. my fingers are crossed it happens soon!
