Hello everyone! We got a notification this morning that my card is being produced! Thank you Jesus! I am praying for everyone still waiting for theirs and hoping everything goes well.  You can see more details on my timeline, now on to N400!

Congrats!!! Did you get a letter or did the website update your status? Also which center are you at (We are MSC and it is moving like molasses)

My N400 window opens in a few months but while other people can file their N400 and get a decision on that relatively quickly because their local office is fast, not only do I have Potomac for my ROC, I also have Washington DC for my local office - yay me!

And did i tell you that people who filed ROC in 2019, in Potomac, got decisions in ~4 months? It was the fastest service center then. Same people got their I-129f approved in weeks. Some people really have all the luck sometimes.

We haven't heard anything about anything, no updates at all from MSC, no fingerprints nothing..... so irritating.

When you say app, is that a phone app or just the myuscis website?

Doggieandsam, you are right! They used to be very fast. Trump also furloughed many employees and they are not back yet! The workforce was reduced so they are now swapped I believe.

I am also Potomac and last I heard was old biometrics being applied to my case. N-400 will go to Baltimore. Hope they are faster there!

NSC filer - Got an update yesterday that my case has now moved to "Testing and Interview". It says I will get a letter with details for my appointment. Hopefully the letter will come this week or the next

Good luck! Seems like this center is moving pretty quickly. Seen other people getting updates. Great news!

Thank you and idea of what documentation to take for the interview and what topics to prepare on?

I’m sure it will all be in the letter for you. But definitely take the copies of your application  that you sent. Plus I would add any new information like taxes, any extra photos, anything that you feel has changed to help your case. I honestly feel like formality and everything will be just fine!

Hey all we are looking to move in the next few months. Really hoping the 10yr green card will come before the move, however, our present address is my parents house. Do you think it is ok to keep this as our mailing address instead of having to change everything to a new address in a different state?

Thanks

Kathy and Dane

Well, as a green card holder, you're supposed to update your address with USCIS within 10 days of moving. I know that increases the chances of things getting sent to the wrong/old address.

I moved during the process and updated my address, and my card did successfully get delivered at the new address -- but I'm just one data point. And I'm a rule follower 😂
