I wonder how they decide to send people a reminder, I never got one and I had USPS forwarding set up as well as telling USCIS last year that I moved.

Same here. I always update my address and did the USPS forward thing but we never got any reminders.

we are sending our package tomorrow, so if we send it second day delivery would they receive it on saturday? or is it better to be delivered on Monday?

If you are thinking about sending it via USPS, let me tell you I sent my package last Monday April 20th via Priority from New York To Dallas. Arrived today Friday 24th,  morning. Priority Express would have cost $52 and I am certain the way the USPS is working now would have taken its sweet time to arrive.

If you're saying what I think you are, I second that.

We sent ours regular USPS priority on Tuesday 14th and it arrived the morning of Friday 17th. From Raleigh, NC to Pheonix, AZ...about as far as you can possibly go in the continental US. Don't waste money on expedited shipping.

Well, I ended up sending it by Fedex  ground will reach  lewisville on Tuesday, as there was no point of sending it expedited, realistically they will receive it on  Monday anyway.

Hi everyone!

I'm finalizing our packet and I was wondering for the 5. Affidavits sworn to or affirmed by at least two people who have known both of you since your conditional residence was granted and have personal knowledge of your marriage and relationship. Do you think a scanned copy is okay? I should have asked some of my friends to handwrite a letter but I had so much on my plate that I totally missed this. Hoping to ask her to scan and email me a letter.

Thanks!

Just FYI, you don't actually need to send any affidavits at all. I didn't. I felt we had enough hard evidence without them (see my previous post for what I sent) and given our circumstances it would be very hard to get original letters at all.

Many people on here have confirmed that the affidavits are not a requirement but they WILL help your case if you don't have much other evidence. If you can easily get them I would try to but if not don't get hung up on that one thing (if you have plenty of other strong evidence to submit).

Did any APRIL 2020 ROC filers got any response yet? If yes, what is the average time after submission?

Not sure what you mean by response. The current wait time is over a year for any of the service centers.

If you mean correspondence then yes, lots of us have received NOA in the mail. The wait is usually a couple of weeks from when the packet was delivered. By looking at previous threads I can also see that it is usually a couple of months before anyone is receiving biometrics appointments, but with the current situation, I imagine biometrics appts are not being scheduled right now.

Hi everyone! I finalized my packet today and will be sending out this week. Mailing out of NJ to TX, probably via FedEx. My card officially expires 7/25. My packet includes:

Cover letter (i mainly use it as a personal checklist)

Check

I-751

Supporting documents:

  1. A copy of the front and back of Resident Card.

  2. A copy of the marriage certificate

  3. A copy of our most recent car insurance bill (just included most recent, has both our names and current address)

  4. A copy of the birth certificates of our two kids

  5. A copy of my life insurance policy (just the Declarations page which has my name and beneficiaries who are my husband and kids)

  6. A Copy of the travel itinerary for our family trip taken in 2019.( 1 page)

  7. Copy of taxes for 2017, 2018 & 2019. (Just federal, they are 3 pages /year)

  8. Photo book (a simple color photobook from shutterfly. Purchased for this specifically. Felt it was easier for me to put all photos together, labeled pages by year. Shows story of our family. Not sure if they scan picture files, they may not be able to scan them since its in a book but, a lot of them they already have from initial application.)

IN other posts i noticed people were sending large packets, some with 200+ pages. Mine has only 33 pages total including the I751 which is 11 pages. Makes me a bit nerveous but hope this all is more than enough. Good luck to everyone!

Hi Everyone! We just got our text notification last night for my husband's case. Here's our timeline to share:

04/21 - Sent I-751 Package to Phoenix PO Box from Chicago

04/23 - Package accepted and signed for in Phoenix

04/27 - Credit Card charged for $680

04/29 - Text message received with case number beginning LIN

Anyone else get sent to LIN (Nebraska)? Any insight on processing times? I checked the USCIS website and it says between 14-26 months.

Good luck to all!
