My I-130 petition was approved on May 1st, 2007 and NVC case created on May 22, 2007. It's been 23 days now. DS-3032 and AOS fee bill have not been generated by NVC. When I called, the rep said it takes 6 to 8 weeks. Does NVC take so long? Reading other's timelines on this forum indicates otherwise.

Any advice/information would be greatly appreciated.

Usually, it takes about 2-3 weeks for NVc to generate DS 3032 and AOS Fee Bill after it has assigned a case number. Check with NVC tomorrow, Tuesday. I think, they may be generated tomorrow. You should consider taking care of the choice of agent by email, as soon as it is generated by NVC. It would save you at least some days.

By the way, try to fill out your timeline.
