Please someone help me... this is getting really confusing :help:

Today I received a package from consular services section american institute in taiwan and inside there's a letter saying

"this office is pleased to inform you that it can begin to process your fiancee visa case. Please read and follow all of the enclosed instructions very carefully."

Case number: XXXXX

Name:XXXXX

then it enclosed application for immigrant visa and alien registration (with DS-230 on the bottom), nonimmigrant visa application (with DS-156 on the bottom), affidavit of support, and letter regarding medical examination and it seems like all the doctor is in taiwan.

but the thing is on the I-129F form we put Vancouver, Canada for line 20-your fiancee will apply for a visa abroad at the american embassy or consulate at: also my fiance didn't even receive NOA2 yet. now i have no idea where to call regarding this issue

Thank you

I was going to post something else, then I look at your previous post and it kinda answered my question. How long have you been living in Canada? Usually there is a residency requirement before you could go through the consulate in Canada.

On the I129F, did you specify Canadian citizenship?

You might be able to request that the case be transfered to Vancouver, but I'm not really sure exactly why it was sent to Taiwan.

It appears that you case did get sent to Taiwan. But I have no idea why. Contact the consulate/embassy, explain the situation and see if you can get the case forwared to Vancover.

NOA2 notices havent really been sent out on time lately. But your petition has been approved, it looks like the NVC sent the case to the wrong embassy.
