The reason I said that is because the Boston cancellation was because two of their employees were exposed to the virus, so the ceremony was cancelled without notifications. The other 3 that we knew about - San Jose, Illinois, and Columbus OH did send out announcement in advance. If you have not heard anything from USCIS, chances are your ceremony will happen tomorrow.

That seems logical to me.

But I did see this (direct reference to NY) which threw me...

Couldn't quote respond to your question anymore in the other post.

I found out about the cancellation through email. Than I called the district court in Norfolk and was told it was the whole eastern district in VA.

I'm not worried about it (the virus).

Just worried about potential impact on citizenship process!

How is worrying going to help you or speed your citizenship along? Well some people enjoy wallowing in misery so to each his own.

Just another random guy from the internet with an opinion, although usually backed by data!

Everyone is screwed basically. But us who have spouses, fiancé’s etc in China have been dealing with this since the end of January. When the virus outbreak started, NVC stopped sending our petitions to the consulate in China, all visa appointments scheduled were cancelled, no new appointments could be made, embassy and consulates evacuated, with no news and what to do and how long we’ll have to wait, we’ve been stuck in the black hole of uncertainty for almost 2 months now. So sit back everyone and welcome to club. This is what happens when a government is grossly unprepared for something they should be prepared for, we get the short end of the stick while they, at the same time, demand we pay them more money for ridiculously slow processing of petitions. It’s unconscionable.

*Some government offices are canceling and postponing naturalization ceremonies. But certain USCIS field offices are offering same-day naturalization to those who are over 60, pregnant, and/or sick. USCIS is not permitted to ask about an applicant’s medical history, so if you believe you qualify for a same-day oath ceremony, let the officer know during your interview so the necessary steps can be taken”  https://www.boundless.com/blog/coronavirus-immigration/
