Good to hear, happy for you!

Justin Trudeau about to announce borders closing aside from the American one on March 18th.

(Announced on this stream, not sure how to link to it directly but the press conference should be really soon now https://ici.radio-canada.ca/nouvelle/1668256/agence-services-frontaliers-controles-aeroports )

It seems like they might have reduced the capacity for immigrant visas, according to the official website. https://ca.usembassy.gov/mission-canada-change-in-operations-due-to-covid-19/

I remember reading on the government website that your passport pics shouldn't be more than 6 months old, and need to reflect your current appearance. See requirements here. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/photos.html

Thank you. We did end up getting new ones  our interview is next Monday hoping it doesn't have to be rescheduled after the lstest announcement from the Montreal consulate.

Just making sure everyone knows the latest for the Montreal consulate. They are not processing non immigrant visa interviews now due to Coronavirus changes.

They are still processing immigrant visa interviews for now but may need to reschedule some depending on staffing.

Ours is next Monday March 23rd. Really hoping it doesn't get rescheduled.

I am terrified that the US will close off their borders completely. I have my flight booked for next week and I am hoping that I can still make it. Also praying that I won't get sick because I will not have any health insurance!

Is this to visit someone or for moving that you are flying to the US?

I will be moving there! Entering with my K1 visa.

I would think they will let you in cause of the visa. I'm concerned too if we get our interview we have 6 months or less to enter but technically we are then permanent residents so I'd hope they'd let us in. If not I guess they'd have to make exceptions and extend people's visas?
