once my fiance and I get the visa, I will be traveling with her to the US.

at the port of entry, there are two lines, one for citizens, one for immigrants. should be both go in separate lines, or should we go through together?

this will be her 1st time outside of her country, so she is very scared to go alone.

thanks

You can both go in the same line.  Many people do so, and I have never seen anyone have an issue doing so...

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

We went together and entered at the same time

Just ask the crowd control officer which line is best

I believe your partner will have to go on a separate line because she will be interviewed for her first K visa entry and her medical reports will be evaluated. You will certainly not be allowed to stand next to her while she's being interviewed.

I learned the hard way, I hope YOU don't have to. Advice: learn, learn, learn.

I sometimes go through immigrations sometimes twice a day, and have asked the CBP officers this question. At least in Miami, you’re allowed to go through the same line and be with your fiancé when they’re processed.  When my fiance comes, she will have our son, luggage, stroller, and a cat, with her. So she will need my help to travel.

Interviewed?  Why would there be an interview?  I have never heard of medical reports being evaluated at POE.  Medical inadmissibility is evaluated before the visa is issued.

I don't think there is anything special about the lines, other than putting citizens in a quicker line.  There is not much to ask a USC returning, so it is quicker.  A non-citizen could take longer to verify paperwork, ask questions etc.  I would be 10000% surprised if they didn't let a USC in either line... its your time to waste.

I have Global Entry so I never notice the wait times.

You need to be cleared to enter BEFORE you collect your luggage, so notaconcern.   If they happen to send her to secondary to complete the paperwork, you can go with ( I did).
