New Public charge Rule applicable on My AoS?

Hi 

My name is Arsalan , i have sent my AOS application with i130 form by USPS mail service on 20th February 2020 and my mail is delivered on 23 February 2020 at 7:15 pm as stated on there website, i mailed my Application to Illinois chicago center.

I heard that government has implemented new public charge rule which was started from 24th february 2020.

Just today i recieved the mail from uscis that my Aos and i 130 docs are approved for further processing and my priority date is 24th february 2020....

Is the public charge rule applied on me?

Because i read on the website, but still unsure that it applied on the postmarked date of delivered or sent.

Your comment on this matter will be highly appreciated

Why are you worried ? Are you or your spouse on any public benefits? Do you not have enough income? Public charge rule already existed before, there have been more updates to it lately.

Yes, the public charge rule applies.

The changes to the rule for the 24th shouldn't apply as it was postmarked prior to the 24th and that is what they said they will go by.

the fact that they accepted it without an I-944 indicates that they are aware that it was not subject to the changes.
