I recently filed to remove conditions on my green card and my notice says my case is being handled by Potomac Service Ctr?  But I'm not seeing any information on anyone else's lifting cases being handled by Potomac?  Any experience by anyone at all?

My ROC case was moved from the Vermont Service Centre to Potomac just before the new year. I received a notification online initially saying:

"On December 17, 2019, we transferred your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence to another USCIS office. That office now has jurisdiction over your case. We sent you a notice that explains why we moved your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your notice by January 16, 2020, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address."

When I received the paper notification in the mail it said that my case had gone to Potomac. I believe this happens when USCIS wants to balance out the work load of the service centres (but someone feel free to correct me if not). Perhaps they are now starting to send new ROC cases there too? Other people who filed in March 2019 to remove conditions are starting to see approvals come through, so hopefully things will speed up a little.

Gotcha.  I guess they redirected mine straight to Potomac.  Hopefully we'll see some movement!

Potomac handled our case eventually as a transfer from being stuck in Vermont limbo hell back when we did ROC. It was a promising sign back then, as it meant a high likelihood of getting an answer either way. They approved within a month. I don't know if they still transfer cases there with a fast turnaround anymore though, and I suspect not.
