Lol. I found 2 pictures of my previous wedding with my ex. But beneficiary can’t find any at all with her ex she saved some pictures with her friends and family but. We both deleted all the pictures last year thinking we wont need them anymore i don’t know what to do now

My advise for you in your situation would be to send them what you have along with a statement explaining why lack of photos etc... you can only give them what you have.. i think id contact the local congressman too, because its a little crazy that they want them..

personally, if they’d of asked me for photos of our ex’s here in Sydney I’d be too busy writing up a letter of complaint to someone rather than looking for photos, as it has nil reference to the current marriage or immigration application other than the need for divorce degrees, plus I’m a little stubborn like that and wouldn’t want to give them the satisfaction for such a ludicrous request when I purposely tried to forget my ex and deleted all photos.... but I’m not in Pakistan and our situation is different to yours.

Thing is that given the situation that uscis would never write an intent to deny for not keeping photos of your previous marriage, the embassy knowing this may keep case in AP rather than sending back, or may send back with some genuine reason. In that case you don't want to be separated for long because of AP, so do what you can to find somewhere,  but i don't think this would have been asked as a requirement if case was in US for adjustment of status because here are courts.

Alas , even though most of time cases are denied / kept in AP for solid reasons , i am afraid this time it may not only because of not keeping photos, given that no one can ask embassy question or bring it to court easy specially in case of AP.

So give what you can. And explain what you cant, just say you didnt want to remember that part of life after divorce. But it my eyes it is wrong to ask for something like this that OP told at interview that they dont have it, they didnt want to keep it. Unless there is more to it that you didn't tell us here.

I must admit I have not read this very long thread and am also aware that not doing so I may have missed pertinent information

Anyway looking at it afresh I would assume there were 2 'weddings', a legal one and a religious one?, not that they were asking for photos from a previous relationship, which makes little sense.

Her friends or family might have kept some pictures of the wedding, did she ask them? Did they hire a photographer?

Nope, that would make sense but the OP is saying they requested photographs of both the petitioners and beneficiaries wedding photos to their EX spouses..

There is definitely no conspiracy theory,  they never have a reason for OP to keep case in AP if they wanted it in AP they wouldn't need this kind of excuse to show a reason of AP. So no its not for a reason to keep case in AP.

Just that, if someone asks me to bring photo of my spouse sitting as bride with her ex happily,  i would be extremely mad nor would she have any pic like that if she is in my life. Period. Every one is different,  but it would make me extremely mad.

Maybe a different way to check whatever they are checking,  but this is rude, i am not gonna sugarcoat it.

I also asked my husband ex marriage pics 😢

I read all the OP's replies on this subject and I saw no mention that there had been any clarification of what was meant. I did see mention of a previous spouse who was sponsored and divorced, they presumably submitted photos and they would be on file.

If the ex was sponsored at one time, could they request their old application documents (including photos) via FOIA?

They can ask, I honestly have never seen a similar situation so am not certain what they would get. FOIA's do not tend to be quick.

Agreed, though they can try to request expedited processing citing the request of the counselor officer.  I guess that is all I could recommend.  OP seems reluctant otherwise.

I used to come across FOIA requests years ago, but nothing like this, begs the question of they can be expedited and if so on what basis. I do not recollect coming across an expedite situation. And you are basically asking one arm of the same organisation to provide the other arm with documents, that does not make much sense when they could get them internally.
