I am doing k1 visa and I am waiting for NVC to send my case to the embassy and then they will send packet 3 to my house.

I want to register my mom since I am living with her. There are times I won't be home to sign/pickup the packet, so I want to register my mom.

it says to "enter the 3rd party receivers name under "mailing address"

no where under mailing address shows a place where I can enter my mom's information..

do I just write it in the "address line" box???

see pic

Most embassies are e-mailing your P3 so there isn't a need for a mail address. They are interested in sending to the e-mail of the beneficiary.

We don't know what visa you are pursuing so it makes it difficult to give a answer as some embassies are different then others on how they process visas. To complete your profile select your icon in your profile on the left column (D), then select "edit profile" found to the right side of the page and then complete as shown below. This is about the beneficiary.

Also we would like you to complete your timeline so we know where you are in the process so once again we can respond accurately to your questions.

Select "Timeline" in the bottom of your profile and then in the last paragraph choose the "here" blue link. Thanks we really appreciate it.

yes I know this, but the profile still needs to be filled out regardless, because that is what the instructions say. i still need to register my  address and include my mom's name because when the visa is approved they will mail it to my house.

the motto of this forum has always been "follow instructions", am I not correct?

and this is for ho chi minh, vietnam

The instructions on the US Embassy Vietnam states the following, Please read the last line of the paragraph as you will find it to be important to my earlier post.

1. Address Registration: Please visit ustraveldocs NOW to create an account, register your address, and print out the Address Registration Confirmation Page.  You MUST bring a copy of this Confirmation Page with you to the interview and whenever you are scheduled to come to the U.S. Consulate after your interview.  Failure to submit this Confirmation Page will delay the visa processing and visa delivery.  Please note that each beneficiary with a different case number must follow the instructions to create their own account and register their mailing address separately.
This requirement is not applicable to K (Fiancé), Refugee/Asylee and Amerasian visa applicants.
