I got Favourable Recommendation on Nov 10. Still no letter from DHS or USCIS. They had processed my change of address in Sept. I feel this is causing the delay.

Cheer up, you at least got FAVORABLE recommendation. Just curious- why didn't you request mail forwarding request with your carrier rather than changing address with DoS? I'm not sure about other carriers (FEDEX, UPS etc.), but I'm 100% sure that USPS does forward mails to new address upon request.

I made mail forwarding request with the post office, and only less than one third of my mails were processed and forwarded by USPS to my new address. The rest of my mails were still delivered to my old address. Also, 100% packages and bigger-than-standard envelops were not forwarded. So I believe changing address with DoS is safer.

@pedroneo Congrats!! You are super close in the process. Could you please let us know how you had drafted an email to WRD? I have sent two emails so far to WRD, but none of them was answered :(

In the subject of the e-mail I wrote "Case number xxx", and I just asked when I could expect an update on my case, as it was not showing up in their system. It did take over 2 months for them to respond my e-mail.

I didn't mention that. I do have USPS mail forwarding. It would be nice to have a proof of the favourable recommendation! I emailed DHS yesterday. Let's see what happens.

^ This could explain things. I did confirm with USPS if they would forward the empty envelope we had to send in case change of address (they said yes).

Update on my case  -

I got Favourable Recommendation on my application today. I had mailed my documents end of May and everything except NOS was updated on the portal on July 6. I emailed three times to update my NOS, no reply.  My embassy sent the NOS twice. The NOS showed up on Oct 27 ( my last email to DHS was on Oct. 21 ). Favourable recommendation on Nov 10.

I am now awaiting the approval notice and receipt from USCIS. Best of luck everyone!

Sharing this again. Got FR on Nov 11. It took me 1.5 yrs ( including the long NOC certificate). Really happy the process is concluded

EDIT: The address on the letter is my new, updated address. I would recommend submitting the Change of Address to DHS if you can.

Congratulations! Can you post your timeline? When did your documents reach DoS (Missouri) and date on which the site was updated?

I submitted by end of April and all docs showed up online by end of June. The rest of the timeline is there in the screenshot. Let me know what else you need.

Guys,

I submitted Statement of Reason (SoR) literally as this-

"I have received an outstanding job offer from (employer's name), and I would like to take advantage of that opportunity to advance my career."

Now I'm worried that it is too short, and could cause problem in getting favorable recommendation. What do you guys think? Is it too short? My case is not showing up yet on DoS website (delivered October 20) so should I submit a new long SoR? Has anyone submitted SoR after submitting DS3035?

PS: My DS2019 sponsor is NIH so DoS would be requiring sponsor views from NIH.

Thanks!

So here is my case: Got FR from DOS in August. Did not receive anything from them. Now waiting for USCIS for 4 months!! I tried emailing the waiver division but no response. I consulted an immigration lawyer and she said that everything is delayed but would not say how long it would take.  This is really frustrating as I have an approved H1 from University!

Is it possible to get approval H1 without J waiver?
