Is there anyone who mailed their documents to lockbox @St. Louis, MO in mid/late October 2021? Do you see status update on DoS website? Mine were delivered on October 20th, and there is no status update since :(

Nope. I did it during the same time.

I sent an email to the 212ewaiver in September asking when I could expect seeing my case updated in the system (I sent my documents August 2). Today I received a response to that e-mail.

I was expecting a decision by January/February. If that worked as a push for them to review my case I'm glad lol. Will update in the coming days/weeks.

@pedroneo Congrats!! You are super close in the process. Could you please let us know how you had drafted an email to WRD? I have sent two emails so far to WRD, but none of them was answered :(

My timeline:

Posted all dosuments (except NOS) on May 28th.

Embassy sent NOS on Spetember 10th.

All documents except NOS updated on system on July 20-21.

NOS appears as received on system Oct 28th but backdated to July 20.

No updates since October.

Sent an email to the 212ewaiver address today and got the autoreply saying replies take 10-15 business days.

Meanwhile, J1 DS2019 expires Jan10, 2022.

Any idea when I can hope for an update based all your experiences? Any insight appreciated.

Thanks!

Thanks for the reply AMV 15. Do you know what sort of information I should provide to the congressman for this?

If you google your congressman or senator, usually they have their government website with a form for immigration related help. Some may have a fax number. They are very helpful and reach out in 2 days for additional info and signing data release forms from you.

I emailed them a long time ago, and they never responded, however I emailed them in November and they finally responded!

I typed my waiver basis and case number in the subject of the email and then this information in my email. And of course the reason for my email.

Case Number:

Last Name:

First Name:

Date of birth:

Waiver Basis:
