Did anyone ever send mail to the Waiver Division using this address?

Waiver Review Division
U.S. Department of State
CA/VO/DO/W
SA-17, Floor 11
Washington, DC 20522-1711

My Fedex overnight package I sent yesterday says "operational delay" due to incorrect address. #######? This is becoming a nightmare. See print screen attached.

My NOL was delivered by my Embassy using that address. They also used overnight shipping. However, you did not put the 600 19th st NW SA 17 11TH FLR

The address I sent is basically the one they told me in the e-mail, and it is also the one that appears on their main website. This is a mess.

Yes, its really devastating. My DS 2019 expires the first week on December. All my documents aside from my NOS were marked as received on July 6th. My Embassy sent the NOS three times. Then finally I called one of the Congressmen in Chicago who helped me with my case. The Department of State then gave us a fax and email address for my Embassy to send my NOS. I am literally praying that all things work together for my good. All the best with your case.

My DS-2019 expires end of 2022. Everything holding my EB2-NIW application is this damn J1 waiver. I will mail again with USPS priority and add the street address like you did. Thanks!

Hello,

I just have a question which I hope someone can assist me with.

I am in the US with a j1 visa, my DS-2019 was supposed to end by January 2022, however I had an extension for two years, which makes it valid till 2024, during this year also I applied for a waiver for the 2 year home residency , and I got the approval. up to now everything seems to be fine. however the only issue is that my visa on my passport expired and I am planning to get back home sometime soon, which requires me to make a visa renewal to be able to get back to the US, so I was wondering if that would affect my waiver!

This seems like a situation you should talk to an immigration attorney.

Visa stamping should be not be affected because of waiver. However, if the interviewing officer notices this they will ask your future plans and why you have taken a waiver already. Be ready with the answer. Usually the standard answer is that your research is very important and you will need to continue it for a year more after J1 expiry. As someone suggested, better to ask a lawyer.

Talk to an immigration attorney, but from what I know if your waiver was approved/granted you will not be able to get a new visa stamp.

Please respond if you guys can. In urgent need of some information. Came in US with a Fulbright J1 for 2 years. As required I went back home and was happy and never thought I would come back. Stayed for around 11 months and then my family situation changed. Went to another country Z and stayed with family there for 3 years and got residency there. Got a new job again in US in J1 but this J1 is not subject because of residency in country Z. I actually tried to stay for 2 years in home country but my circumstances changed and never imagined that I would come back to US.

Is it possible to get a waiver in this situation under "No Objection"?

Can I even get a No Objection because I dont live in the first country now?

For family and economic reasons its just not possible for me to go back to the first country and live there for the remaining time just for the sake of completing 2 years.
